DEBOSSING CLICHÉ
Debossing is an ancient movable type printing technique. The text is composed backwards and upside down, the heat of the press and the pressure make the rest leaving the imprint in the center of the cover.
We have two types of fonts available for text composition: Blair, a sans serif dating back to the early 1900s. The design conveys an impression of authority, while remaining extremely elegant and minimalist. Then there is the Copperplate font, a serif font from 1901, characterized by small nib serifs that give the feeling of the engraver’s tool.
Alternatively, there is the possibility to choose one of the available clichés (here on the side) or on request, make a custom.

All our Portrait Books are printed with the best Epson Ultrachrome HDR printing technology. As for Fine Art Papers, you can choose between two surfaces of the highest quality: one in Cellulose Fiber and the most valuable 100% Cotton Paper.
